Review packets should not start from a blank Slack search
Peers send kudos in 15 seconds. You get a weekly digest, a monthly leaderboard on Team, and one AI page per person when reviews come around.
Someone ships a brutal migration. Three people react with a fire emoji. Six months later you write their review from memory. The emoji is gone. The migration is now "the platform," which is nobody's name.
Kudos Rally is a public, dated, named note. /kudos @name for the migration rollback at 2am or a chosen reaction on a message. Free allows 3 given per person per day, 10 people, Slack, a weekly digest, and 90 days of history. No values tags, no leaderboard, no AI recap. It answers one question: will people type the command?
What happens after the kudos
The note lands in a channel you pick. On Team (from $29, 50 people) you add up to 8 values tags: craft, customer, ownership, whatever you actually reward. The weekly digest is a count plus the five longest notes. The monthly leaderboard posts once, givers and receivers, then goes quiet.
Once a month on Team, each person who received kudos gets an AI recap of at most 2,000 characters, written for the manager. It quotes 3 to 5 notes. It does not invent "leadership potential." If they received nothing, there is no recap.
Rewards stay optional
Business ($79, 200 people, Slack and Teams) adds a catalog of 25 items with point costs. You set a monthly point budget per person between 1 and 500. People spend points on "coffee card" or "extra afternoon." An admin fulfills the gift by hand. We never bill a gift card's face value.
